Dear parents, teachers, students, and friends: on behalf of the Tallahassee Music Teachers Association and my own I welcome all of you to the 2020 edition of our traditional Fall Honor’s Recital. I have the honor and pleasure to present a selected group of talented and accomplished students offering a video recording of the best renditions of their favorite piano pieces. This year we have the joy to receive a remarkable participation of 12 colleagues and 27 students of different ages and levels. Due to the precautionary measures which the ongoing pandemic requires, the TMTA decided not to cancel the event but to offer a virtual (cyber) recital on the web. I believe it was a learning process for all since we were navigating through some unfamiliar technological challenges. This year event is offered in our TMTA YouTube’s channel on the following URL address:

A non-competitive, annual recital. Participating teachers may select two (or more if program time allows) of the best students from their respective studios. Students will present one well-prepared, memorized piece. This year will be the first ONLINE recital. The submitted video will have screening process.
Teachers, please submit the following registration form no later than November 1, 2020. Submit one form for each student.
- Registration Deadline: November 1, 2020
- Fee: None
- Requirements: Original memorized composition
- Length of Repertoire: minimum is one minute and maximum is 6 minutes
