Since 1945 the Tallahassee Music Teachers Association has been a prestigious, non-profit, professional organization that embraces full membership for independent, public school, and college educators in the capital of Florida.
The purpose of TMTA is to unite well-qualified music teachers within the Tallahassee area, to raise standards of music instruction, sponsor meetings for study and discussion, update teaching methods, stimulate music interest among the general public and provide regular and enriching activities such as recitals, festivals, master classes, auditions, competitive events and scholarships for summer camp students. |
