A warm welcome to the Tallahassee Music Teachers’ Association! My name is Maggie Cass, and I am currently serving as the TMTA President.
Whether you are a student looking for a qualified music teacher, or a teacher considering joining our association, I want you to know that the TMTA has a place for you. Please consider this a personal invitation to connect with us! Fellow teachers will find educational opportunities such as workshops and lecture recitals, camaraderie and connection with colleagues, access to pedagogical and business resources, along with a host of programs to enrich our students’ musical growth. Students of TMTA teachers may participate in our recitals, festivals, and adjudications, and may apply for our annual summer music camp scholarship. Reflecting on my experience with TMTA, I see a common thread that runs through this organization: an unwavering commitment to creating positive experiences for student musicians. I’m honored to work with this group of professionals, all of whom are dedicated to fostering growth and instilling a love of music in each and every student. TMTA members: thank you!
