Summer Camp Scholarship Auditions ~ Chairman: Yu-Chien Chen
A competition to select students to receive a monetary award to go toward tuition at any summer music camp of good standing. This competition takes place immediately following the DSD Performance Auditions.
Each student plays two contrasting pieces not to exceed fifteen minutes and rated by judges. The number of scholarships depends upon the amount of money raised that year. A winner of the scholarship must skip one year after winning before re-auditioning for the same award. If entries are not deemed worthy the judges have the right to not award all the scholarships available. If all scholarships are awarded, one alternate may also be chosen at the discretion of the judges.
